Fair Play Vouchers

The Queensland Governement’s Fair Play Vouchers scheme is aimed at increasing participation sport and active recreation. Eligible families can apply for one $150 voucher each year.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for the voucher depends on the following conditions:

  • The child named in the application must be aged between 5 and 17 years

  • The child must be a resident of Queensland

  • The child’s parent or guardian must have a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child’s name on it

Families who do not meet the above conditions but are experiencing financial hardship may be eligible to apply via another method. You can contact the department to begin this process here.

Applying for Fair Play Vouchers

Applications for Fair Play Vouchers must be submitted via the Queensland Government’s QGrants portal. You can access the portal here or apply for an account here.

Once your registration is complete, you are ready to apply for a voucher.

Where to Use Your Voucher

Only approved activity providers can redeem your voucher. You can find a full list of approved activity providers here.
